Born in Petroşani, Romania in 1929

When Lea was one year old, her family moved to Budapest. In 1943 she joined the movement. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, Lea operated under a false name within the framework of the Zionist underground. She engaged in obtaining authentic Aryan documents from the offices of the Population Registry in Budapest. With Márta Révész (Weisz) she managed to find accommodation in a hostel for girls who were members of the Arrow Cross Party and to steal documents from there. Their identity was discovered but they managed to escape. Lea stayed at the “Glass House” on 29, Vadász Street. After the liberation she completed her matriculation examinations. In 1949 Lea made aliya. She joined Kibbutz Mavki’im and married Yeshayahu-Sajó Rosenblum. In 1951 they left the kibbutz. Lea worked as a teacher. She resides in Tel-Aviv.
